ChanéVan Heerden - South Africa - Convicted of a 2011 occult murder in the South African town of Welkom. Van Heerden and her accomplice Maartens van der Merwe killed, dismembered, then removed both eyes of their victim. After the killing, Van Heerden used skinning techniques she had learnt while hunting with her step-father as a young girl on the victims face. The couple then buried various parts of the remains in a local cemetery as well as in their back yard garden.

Four page handwritten letter from Van Heerden. Letter content centers around her naming her favorite bands, horror movies and serial killers including Richard Ramirez and Albert Fish. She talks a bit about religion, specifically Christianity and her reasons for not agreeing with it. She touches on her crime and mentions her charge partner Maarten van der Merwe. Great content throughout. Letter is signed Chane' aka Mallory Knox. Original matching handwritten envelope is included. Van Heerden has drawn pentagrams on the front page of the letter as well as the last page. Van Heerden's items are non existent on the true crime market.
