Product Information

On May 18, 2001, Tracy Allen Hampton shot and killed Charles Findley and Tanya Ramsdell at 802 E. Roberts Road in Phoenix. Ramsdell was five months pregnant at the time. Hampton, who bore tattoos of skulls and slogans such as "White Power," was a white supremacist. Findley's family had befriended him when he was homeless.

Hampton shot Findley in the forehead because he had identified him to state Department of Safety Officers trying to serve him with a traffic ticket. Seconds later, he kicked in Tanya's bedroom door and put a .40-caliber bullet in her forehead. Prosecutors said Hampton killed Ramsdell because he believed her baby's father was a Black man.

On May 2, 2002 the jury found Hampton guilty on two counts of first degree murder and one count of manslaughter for the unborn child. The murder of Ramsdell also was found to have been committed in an especially heinous or depraved manner. The superior court imposed separate death sentences for each of the two murder convictions. For the manslaughter conviction of the unborn child, the court sentenced Hampton to an aggravated term of twelve and one-half years, to run consecutively to the death penalties. Hampton is currently on death row awaiting his death sentence.

In March 2004 Hampton threatened to have his defense lawyers killed because he objected to what they told him during a prison visit “My current living arrangements may confine me but I feel it’s only fair to warn you that I can and will ‘reach out and touch’ you both." A year earlier, the Legal Advocate’s Office withdrew after a deputy advocate reported being explicitly threatened by Hampton.

March 1, 2016 inmate disciplinary report on Hampton for felony aggravated assault on a correctional officer. Inmate copy - signed by the assaulted officer as well as shift supervisor. Hampton 'refused to sign' the report buthas included three print outs of injuries to the officer and has signed each page. Four pages total.
