De Hoyos (also known as the 'Uncle Fester' killer) confessed to posing as a teacher and abducting nine year old Nadia Puente on her way home from school, driving her to a motel room, raping her, killing her and then dumping her body into a trash can. During his trial, DeHoyos barked like a dog and flipped over the counsel table when a recording of his confession was being played. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death in August 1993.

Five pages all front and back equaling 10 written pages in all handwritten letter. Letter content includes talk about his crime in which he names the victim by name and talks about his trial. Goes into detail in reagrds to his friendship with friend and fellow infamous murderer James 'The Folsom Wolf' Marlow. Talks about his paintings and his family. Letter is signed in full. Included is a 4x6 photograph of his daughter in which he has written on the back and has also signed it in full. Original matching handwritten envelope also included.
