Product Information
John Edward Robinson is a convicted serial killer, con man, embezzler, kidnapper and forger who was found guilty in 2003 of three murders and received the death sentence for two of them. He subsequently admitted responsibility for five additional homicides, and investigators fear that there might be other, undiscovered victims as well. Because he made contact with most of his post-1993 victims via on-line chat rooms, he is sometimes referred to as "the Internet's first serial killer". Many of these chat rooms dealt with the BDSM alternative lifestyle and he often went by the name "Slavemaster".
Robinson met and ingratiated himself with 49-year-old Beverly Bonner, the prison librarian whom he met at Western Missouri Correctional Facility, who upon his release left her husband and moved to Kansas to work for him. After Robinson arranged for Bonner's alimony checks to be forwarded to a Kansas post office box, her family never heard from her again. For several years Bonner's mother continued forwarding her checks, and Robinson continued cashing them. Robinson only admitted killing Bonner to avoid the death penalty in a MO court of law. Robinson now claims his innocence in this murder.
Eighteen pages of handwritten notes Robinson obviously prepared for 2002/03 trial. These notes detail his version of events from the moment he met victim Beverly Bonner to the last time he saw her.
