John Edward Robinson is a convicted serial killer, con man, embezzler, kidnapper and forger who was found guilty in 2003 of three murders and received the death sentence for two of them. He subsequently admitted responsibility for five additional homicides, and investigators fear that there might be other, undiscovered victims as well. Because he made contact with most of his post-1993 victims via on-line chat rooms, he is sometimes referred to as "the Internet's first serial killer". Many of these chat rooms dealt with the BDSM alternative lifestyle and he often went by the name "Slavemaster". This is a three page 2003 handwritten letter from Robinson shortly after his conviction to Lore Remington. Robinson has signed the letter in full 'John Robinson'
Remington worked as an informant for law enforcment and was vital in the arrest and conviction of Robinson. This letter was written in 2002 after Robinson devised a plan that he would tell everyone that he was going to commit suicide. This letter to Remington is scathing, in it tells her that the real killers are still out there and that he hopes her and her family suffer every day for the rest of their lives. He continues berating her for three pages and ends the letter telling her he can't wait til 'Lore Remington BDSM sex slave' is a household word in Canada and that he can't wait to hear how her family reacts to that. This is by far the most vengeful and hatred filled letter that we have ever read from a serial killer. Original matching envelope included (no postmarks, as this letter was sent in a parcel by Robinson to an outside source to be mailed to Remington. The letter was never mailed and as a result Remington never received the letter.
